P is for Practice

P is for Practice is a case study-based training series developed by the North Carolina Center for Public Health Preparedness (NCCPHP) to allow non-epidemiologists to practice basic epidemiology skills, including:

  • Outbreak investigation
  • Risk communication
  • Vulnerable populations
  • Common epidemiological study designs

This guide is designed to follow the first two guides in NCCPHP’s epidemiology training series, "E is for Epi: Epidemiology basics for non-epidemiologists" and "I is for Investigation: Outbreak investigations from mystery to mastery."
