The following documents will be used to conduct the assessment of the reproductive health needs of women affected by disaster. Prior to implementation, thorough training of supervisors and interviewers should be completed.
In addition to printed maps and copies of the questionnaire, interview teams will also need to keep a detailed log of each attempted interview in the tracking form.
Remember that upholding the rights of the women participating in the assessment is your top priority. Make certain that all members of the assessment team have been trained thoroughly on the protection of human subjects. Interviewers will need to present each participant with a fact sheet and a consent form before beginning each interview.
In addition, interview teams and supervisors should have contact information for local services to refer the respondent for follow-up when needed.
