This Web site provides an overview of training materials developed by the North Carolina Center for Public Health Preparedness in conjunction with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Thailand Emerging Infections Program in 2006.

These training materials on avian influenza and rapid response were presented at a training held in Bangkok, Thailand on July 17-21, 2006 for 135 public health workers from 14 countries. After the training participants received copies of all course materials on CD-ROM for easy distribution of training materials in their home countries.
